Job summary

GRBS is seeking a Custodian Lead for Ionia Public Schools in Orleans, MI. This full-time 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday, 3pm-11:30pm or 3:30pm-12am for 40 hours weekly, with a pay rate of $16.00/hour.

The Lead will oversee cleaning operations and ensure accountability among the team. Responsibilities include executing cleaning tasks, using GRBS tools, maintaining nightly perimeter checks, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass pre-employment drug screening that includes THC.
• Reliable transportation to and from work each day is required.
• Team player, dependable, self-motivated traits are essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
• Finish the job with GRBS tools.
• Complete 360 communication.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Lead with integrity and humility.
• Nightly perimeter door checks.
• Mop and sweep floors, dust surfaces, clean restrooms, remove trash.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
