Job summary

SBM in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. You will perform janitorial tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and support waste handling processes. The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety rules, and professional interaction with staff and customers.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00pm–2:30am, with a pay range of $14.00–$15.00 per hour. No formal education is required, but 3–6 months of training or experience is preferred and a valid

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Bilingual is a plus; strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as per daily schedule.
• Handle Hazardous Waste duties including collection, labeling, and packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain area cleanliness.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures; work with team and supervisors.
• Fill in during staffing shortages and assist shift lead with punch lists.
• Present a professional appearance and provide good customer service.
