Job summary

SBM is seeking a Custodian in Texas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. This role requires performing daily janitorial tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and following all safety protocols.

Training of 3–6 months is preferred, with potential forklift certification and bilingual abilities viewed positively. Shifts run Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, with compensation of $13.00–$14.00 per hour and SBM benefits.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement.
• 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
