Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide work direction to custodial staff. The role requires performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with scheduling and training under the Custodial Supervisor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and possibly forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED required.
• At least 1-year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (preferred).
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
