Job summary

SBM Management Services is seeking a Custodial Lead to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide guidance to custodial staff. This role supports the Custodial Supervisor and helps ensure safe operating practices.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with potential certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid and possibly forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least 1 year of related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; a valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
