Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. You will assist the supervisor with scheduling, training, and ensuring safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required, with possible forklift certification and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related custodial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; may require a valid driver’s license; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties in assigned areas.
• Provide work direction to custodial staff as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE and supplies.
• Recommend corrective actions for areas needing improvement.
