Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, participating in CT guided procedures, and coordinating patient workflows for inpatients and outpatients.

Requirements include ARRT certification, CT credential within a year, and an Ohio radiographer license. The position supports cross-training and night shift duties with a biweekly schedule; a sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Functions well independently and as part of the CT Team.
