Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist CT to join the Radiology Department. You will produce quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient care for inpatients and outpatients.

Required ARRT Radiology certification, CT credential (or eligibility within one year), Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification. Night shifts, biweekly 60 hours, with a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
