Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technology professional to join the Radiology Department as a CT Technologist for night shifts. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, patient scheduling, and educating patients about examinations to ensure comfort and understanding.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-certified, hold a valid Ohio Radiographer License, and maintain BLS. The position offers sign-on benefits and a supportive CT team in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
