Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio seeks a CT Radiologic Technologist for the night shift. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support care for trauma, stroke, and cancer patients.

Qualified candidates are ARRT-CT certified, hold an Ohio Radiographer License, and have BLS. ARRT CT certification is preferred. External applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images and supports CT-guided procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Assists with CT guided procedures and coordination of CT scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Exhibits on-the-spot critical thinking and works well under stress with minimal supervision.
• Collaborates effectively with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
