Southeast Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare patients, operate scanners, and administer contrast media under radiologist supervision.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA, HIPAA, and department policies, with collaboration across physicians and staff to deliver timely diagnostic information. Ongoing education and quality control are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic imaging program approved by the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Registered in ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Undergraduate degree.
• 3+ years of CT scans experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure safety before scanning.
• Position patients to minimize radiation exposure.
• Operate CT equipment and capture diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed.
• Review images for quality and report findings to radiologists.
• Follow ALARA principles and HIPAA requirements.
• Document procedures accurately in medical records.
• Coordinate with radiologists and physicians.
• Respond to emergencies during scans.
