Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registration within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients to optimize imaging while minimizing radiation.
• Operate CT equipment and acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before radiologist review.
• Maintain ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures and patient information in the medical record.
• Coordinate with radiologists and physicians for timely diagnosis.
• Respond to medical emergencies during scans.
