Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast media, and produce clear images for radiologists.

Collaboration with physicians and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Candidates should be proficient with PACS/EMR systems, maintain ALARA principles, and document all procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic imaging program approved by ARRT or NMTCB and registered within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ACLS is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients to obtain optimal imaging while minimizing exposure.
• Operate CT equipment and acquire diagnostic images per protocol.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review images for quality and communicate findings to radiologists.
