Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic CT scans while keeping patient safety and comfort a priority. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, familiarity with PACS/EMR, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic imaging program approved by ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• 3+ years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and position for CT scans, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate CT equipment and acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer or manage contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain documentation in the medical records system.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain patient advocacy.
