Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Process Operator Specialist for the Air Separation Unit (STARSHIP) on the night shift. You will operate cryogenic distillation, turboexpanders, compressors, and molecular sieve systems while monitoring parameters and executing approved procedures.

You will gain expertise in cryogenic thermodynamics, distillation, adsorption, and equipment performance as you progress toward independent watch standing, with emphasis on reliability, purity, and safe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in industrial ops or plant operations with air separation, cryogenics, or industrial gases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the ASU via distributed control system and perform field rounds, flag deviations.
• Assist plant startups/shutdowns and respond to abnormal situations per procedures.
• Support troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of ASU equipment.
• Collect samples, log data, and escalate mismatches to the shift lead.
• Execute LOTO, permit-to-work, and PSM activities; maintain 5S and housekeeping.
• Learn SOPs, participate in shift pass-down and continuous improvement.
