Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Process Operator Specialist for the Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Starbase to produce high-purity LOX for Starship. You will operate cryogenic distillation, turboexpanders, compressors, molecular sieve beds, and gas analyzers while monitoring parameters and following procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or 6+ years in industrial plant roles.
• 4+ years operating or supporting automated industrial processes.
• Experience with cryogenic or industrial gas facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cryogenic ASU equipment including distillation columns and gas analyzers.
• Perform startups/shutdowns, mode changes, and alarm responses per SOPs.
• Collect process samples, log data, and report deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve procedures and safety.
• Maintain PSM practices, LOTO, and strict housekeeping on site.
• Support reliability efforts and ensure resources and spares are available.
