Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Process Operator Specialist to run the Starbase Air Separation Unit, overseeing cryogenic distillation and high-purity LOX production. You will monitor the ASU via DCS/HMI, perform field rounds, and ensure equipment operates within safety and efficiency targets.

You will participate in startups/shutdowns, log data, collect samples, and coordinate with engineers and technicians to implement improvements while maintaining strict PS and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in industrial environments.
• Minimum 4+ years operating or supporting automated industrial processes.
• Experience with DCS/HMI systems and process safety practices.
• Ability to read P&IDs and process diagrams for isolation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support cryogenic distillation and related ASU equipment.
• Monitor processes, conduct field rounds, and report deviations promptly.
• Execute startups, shutdowns, and abnormal situation responses per procedures.
• Log data, collect samples, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, and PSM requirements.
