Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a temporary 12-week contract. Night shifts, full-time, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week with rotating weekends.

Pay is $50.00 per hour, with competitive pay and shift differentials. The RCP will perform respiratory and diagnostic procedures, focus on assessment, planning and documentation, and may serve as Lead RCP when supervision is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC required.
• BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Two years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physician.
• Assess, plan, implement and document care considering patient needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP in supervisor's absence.
