CoreSite is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer I to operate and maintain data center electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems on the night shift. You will respond to alarms, run diagnostics, document findings, and support customer infrastructure projects with a focus on uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 2-5 years of data center operations experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, and document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance; use CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance.
• Support customer infrastructure projects including cage builds and cabling.
• Provide advanced remote hands and manage trouble tickets and incidents.
