Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Critical Care Transport Nurse to deliver high-quality critical care during transport between facilities. The role covers night shifts on a 3x12 schedule with weekend rotations and requires RN licensure in WI and IL within six months.

The nurse will maintain complete documentation and participate in pre/post mission debriefings, with ongoing safety compliance. Minimum two years of RN experience in ICU/ED settings is expected, with ADN required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in critical care/emergency settings.
• Experience in ICU/CCU or ED in high-volume settings is preferred.
• Previous flight or ground transport experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope from initial contact to hand-off.
• Maintain documentation to complete before end of shift.
• Attend pre-mission and post-mission debriefings and briefings.
• Ensure safety and readiness of equipment and supplies on transport.
• Support patient and family education and follow-up activities.
