Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-level patient care in an acute setting. The role includes handling complex assessments, high-intensity interventions, and ECMO support as needed.

Candidates must hold an Alabama RN license or valid eNLC license, with ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as required for designated units. This is a full-time night shift with a collaborative, patient-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health.
• 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas; NICU NRP may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in high-acuity settings with complex needs.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per nursing standards and protocols.
• Documents care and coordinates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Operates and monitors ECMO and critical care equipment.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans.
• Precepts and supports other team members and participates in education and performance improvement.
