Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time days role in ambulatory/post-acute care with ECMO responsibilities.

The RN will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, assess needs, develop plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-tech environment including ECMO support when required. Join a dedicated team focused on quality and community health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Promotes wellness and restore health through ambulatory/post-acute care nursing practices.
• Assess needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide care appropriate to patient age; coordinate and document care.
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team and communicate patient status.
• Maintain safe, compassionate environment and involve family education.
• Support ECMO/ECLS care in CVICU as required and participate in QA initiatives.
