Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License is required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 3 years of experience in critical care or similar high-acuity areas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and incorporates education into daily care.
• Documents assessments, plans, interventions and medication use.
• Uses the information system to document patient status and communicate changes.
• Coordinates transfer of patient information during rounds and handoffs.
• Recognizes and responds to patient needs and abnormals, including abuse recognition.
