Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Team, Telemetry, on the Night Shift from 7pm to 7:30am. The role emphasizes quality of care and direct/indirect patient care using professional nursing skills.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, PA RN license, AHA BLS, and at least 3 years in critical care, and will participate in interprofessional rounds and patient education within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS.
• 3 years of experience in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn; incorporates education into daily care.
• Documents admission assessment and reassessment, care plan, interventions and medication use per policy.
• Uses the information management system to document patient status and communicate changes; prioritizes assignments as situations change.
• Communicates patient transfer and pertinent information at bedside and during interprofessional rounds.
• Recognizes special patient needs and individualizes care; knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
