Qualifications

• PA RN License
• BSN required
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years critical care experience

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and barriers to education, tailoring patient education to age and cultural values.
• Documents admission assessments, plans, interventions and medication use per policy.
• Uses the information system to communicate patient changes and prioritizes workloads.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility during bedside care and rounds.
• Identifies special needs and references abuse recognition and referrals.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in care plans.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
