Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 Float Pool (CC-MS) for a 7p-7a shift. You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, plan and coordinate nursing interventions, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, MD RN license, CPR, ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 2 years of critical care experience. BSN preferred or must be started within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred; Bachelor's degree required within 3 years.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• Healthcare Provider CPR bi-annually.
• ACLS/PALS as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with a focused nursing assessment and formulate diagnoses.
• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, monitor effects.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate care with health team.
• Document care and communicate status to physicians and staff.
