GBMC HealthCare is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision in Towson, MD. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with BSN preferred and Maryland RN licensure. A BSN must be completed within 3 years of start date.

Minimum 2 years of critical care experience is expected, with CPR, ACLS/PALS as required. The job emphasizes comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation and patient teaching in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of start date.
• Current Maryland RN registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• Healthcare Provider CPR course completion bi-annually.
• ACLS/PALS as required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses and reassesses as needed.
• Develops and updates written nursing plans of care coordinating with the health team.
• Administers medications, IV therapies and treatments; communicates status to the care team.
• Manages daily patient assignments and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Participates in patient education and unit quality improvement activities.
