Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is seeking a part-time Night Shift RN for the Critical Care Float Pool. The role moves between Medical-Surgical ICU, CVICU and Telemetry, providing high-acuity patient care on a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Requirements include an RN license, 2 years of critical care experience, and a BSN within 5 years of hire; 7pm-7:30am with 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday rotations. A sign-on bonus is offered along with shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• 2 years of Critical Care experience.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Broad nursing knowledge to meet complex health care needs at various life stages.
• Preferred membership in related professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient and family assessment and documents findings.
• Plans and updates care plans with patient/family input and healthcare team.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and communicates orders and regulations.
• Evaluates care plans based on outcomes and revises as needed with the team.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy and uses equipment safely.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development and supports student learning.
