Job summary

Osceola County seeks an Inmate Services Supervisor to oversee the administration and operation of the Inmate Services unit. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating court-related processes, managing records, and ensuring compliance with federal/state standards.

You will assist in budgeting, interagency communication, and program development, including education and reentry initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience in Inmate Records, Bonds and Dockets, Inmate Programming, Inmate Classification, Probation, Pretrial Release, and/or Community Corrections, with at least one year supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Unit Supervisor in planning, organizing, and implementing division goals and objectives.
• Supervise staff, coordinate workloads, evaluate performance, and administer payroll and leave time.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state rules, ACA, FCAC, and other standards; manage court documentation and releases.
• Enter data into the Jail Management System and oversee record-keeping.
• Monitor operating budgets and payroll and manage program expenditures within budget.
