Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible corrections experience working directly with offenders, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Corrections-related experience includes direct service to/with detained clients and supervising offenders in programming.

Responsibilities

• Schedules correctional staff for all shifts to ensure facility security and safety.
• Enforces policies, IA's and procedures; determines action in emergency situations.
• Supervises staff, conducts interviews, provides training and direction.
• Keeps logs, authorizes counts, coordinates searches, and handles offender movements.
• Invites and manages disciplinary actions and may serve as Disciplinary Hearing Officer.
• Performs other work as assigned.
