Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in Rhode Island is seeking a Conveyor Mechanic for our distribution center. You will maintain and repair conveyors and wrapping machines across a 1.3 million square foot DC, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and safety issues to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, OSHA 30 certification, and the ability to operate forklifts and lifts. We offer a third-shift schedule Sunday–Thursday, competitive benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years of conveyor maintenance experience required.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and obtain licenses.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on conveyors and wrapping equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete lubrication and daily repairs.
• Assist with emergency downtime repairs as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety regulations.
