Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on facility equipment and automated systems in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will read electrical and mechanical schematics, test voltages, troubleshoot issues, and uphold safety standards.

Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and preventive maintenance is required. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with evening shifts and full-time hours at our Rhode Island

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience performing voltage testing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of machine motors, conveyor systems, and automated equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance in industrial/manufacturing/distribution/logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Perform voltage readings and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machine motors, conveyor systems, and automated equipment.
• Inspect machinery for wear, defects, and potential failures to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and replace worn bearings, sprockets, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components as needed.
• Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and spare parts inventory tracking.
• Support equipment improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Handle complex maintenance issues with limited supervision.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.
