Job summary

Safety Management Group, LLC is seeking a Safety Advisor - Construction for the Lebanon, Indiana project on the night shift. Per diem is available for non-local candidates, with premium pay after 40 billable hours weekly and a road warrior benefit each month.

The role emphasizes site safety observations, incident management, and reports in a construction environment, with a 6 month to 1-year project duration and a 13-on/1-off schedule up to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of construction safety experience.
• BSCP Certification preferred (CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.).
• A degree in safety or related field preferred.
• First-aid/CPR certification from ARC or AHA.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction.

Responsibilities

• Site safety observations and documentation of findings.
• Create reports, run safety metrics, and use software programs.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
• Represent the contractor in progress meetings.
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures per law and contracts.
• Conduct new hire orientations and safety meetings.
• Provide incident management and support.
• Documentation and report preparation.
• Conduct contractor program reviews.
