Qualifications

• Five plus years of construction safety experience.
• BSCP Certification preferred (CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.).
• A degree in safety or related field preferred.
• First-aid/CPR certification from ARC or AHA.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction.

Responsibilities

• Site safety observations and documentation of findings.
• Create reports, run safety metrics, and use software programs.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
• Represent the contractor in progress meetings.
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures per law and contracts.
• Conduct new hire orientations and safety meetings.
• Provide incident management and support.
• Documentation and report preparation.
• Conduct contractor program reviews.

SMG seeks a Safety Advisor - Construction in Lebanon, Indiana - Night Shift - Per Diem Available

The key function of a Safety Advisor is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible when it comes to change and travel. The Associate in this role will work in a construction environment.

Additional Information

• SMG full-time, benefitted Associates are eligible for Premium Pay after working 40 billable hours for the week. Premium pay is at a 1.35 multiplier.
• Per Diem is available for non-local candidates only. Per diem is $980/week for this project.
• This projects anticpated duration is 6 months up to a year. Anticipated schedule is 13 days on, 1 day off, up to 10 hours per day. Schedule could change.
• $400 Road Warrior Benefit each month.
• Annual pay/merit review/increase.
