Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Manager to join a Night Shift team supporting a hyperscale data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You will manage scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules to meet client objectives within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership of subcontractors and coordination across engineering disciplines to ensure timely delivery and quality execution on complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing data center construction projects or related facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes and building systems.
• Expertise in construction management across civil, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Experience leading contractors and superintendents for scope, documents and drawings.
• Ability to manage CSA scopes from bid to closeout and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings with Subcontractor and document outcomes.
• Ensure latest technical documents are available to Subcontractor.
• Review RFIs and submittals for completeness before submission.
• Monitor RFIs/submittals and coordinate with engineering for progress.
• Visit subcontractor fabrication shops to expedite materials.
• Coordinate material deliveries with field teams and subs.
• Track subcontractor schedules and escalate issues with cost control.
• Process changes and pricing in collaboration with Subcontracts Admin.
