Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Night Shift team on a hyperscale data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You will oversee planning, budgets, schedules, and contracts to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Subcontractors, ensuring document control, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and maintaining progress with project controls. This role requires strong leadership and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing data center construction projects or projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Hosts weekly meetings with the Subcontractor and takes suitable notes.
• Ensures that Subcontractor has latest version of all technical documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Reviews RFIs & submittals assuring completeness prior to Subcontractor submission.
• Monitors return of RFIs and submittals from the Subcontractor and expedites engineering support as needed.
• Coordinates with Subcontracts Administrator on changes and pays applications.
