Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Night Shift team on a hyperscale data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You will lead project scope, budgets, schedules, and subcontract administration to deliver client objectives.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams, manage CSA scopes from bid through turnover, and ensure compliance and quality across civil, structural, and architectural disciplines on a dynamic data center build.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing data center construction projects or related facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction phases and building systems.
• Proven contract management and project delivery experience.
• Ability to lead teams and foster client relationships across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Hosts weekly meetings with the Subcontractor and notes are distributed to attendees.
• Ensures subcontractor has the latest version of all drawings and specs.
• Reviews RFIs and submittals for completeness before submission.
• Monitors RFIs and submittals and expedites as needed with engineering.
• Visits subcontractor fabrication shops to expedite progress.
• Coordinates material deliveries and sequencing with field teams.
• Monitors the subcontractor schedule and escalates issues to leadership.
• Evaluates changes with Subcontracts Administrator and tracks into cost control.
• Reviews and approves pay applications before final submission.
