Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Three years or more in ready-mix concrete production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete according to ticket specifications and load trucks.
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery.
• Oversee plant grounds, buildings, equipment and machinery appearance and security.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Review drivers’ daily vehicle reports and coordinate repairs with Fleet Maintenance.
• Manage inventories and monitor plant operating costs; prepare daily reports.
• Participate in training, evaluation, and discharge of personnel.
• Conduct safety meetings and plant safety/environment inspections.
