Job summary

Durman Colombia SAS in Asheville, NC is seeking a Compound Blending Operator to manage production of raw materials for blending and mixing. You will monitor recipes, oversee the compound computer system, inspect and report repairs, and ensure safety and quality.

This role requires a high school diploma, forklift operation, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; shift is 9pm–9am on a 36/48 rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Prior experience with chemical production processes or in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred).
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Basic Math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and run proper recipes: ingredients, heating/cooling times and temperatures.
• Monitor the compound computer system to ensure weights, heats and pressures meet requirements.
• Inspect, repair and report needed repairs of filters, material lines/hoses, etc.
