Job summary

Seaboard Triumph Foods seeks a Cold Side Maintenance Superintendent for night shift to supervise maintenance activities across plant operations. You will coordinate shutdowns, oversee PM crews, and ensure safe, compliant operation of Marel and Frontmatec automated equipment.

The role requires engineering background, 5+ years of mechanical supervisory experience, and familiarity with FSIS/OSHA regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for maintaining smooth production

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred with five years mechanical field experience and five years supervisory experience in a mechanical role.
• 2–3 years in a meat processing facility desired or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and control maintenance activities for plant operations.
• Coordinate maintenance for shutdowns across Hot, Cold, and Material Handling sides.
• Oversee PM crews and automated equipment maintenance (Marel, Frontmatec, Jarvis tools).
• Maintain effective communication between mechanical and plant operations and sanitation teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA and FSIS regulations; report incidents and prevent recurrences.
• Lead subordinates, provide feedback, review performance, and develop staff.
