Peet’s Coffee is hiring a Production Technician for the third shift (Mon–Fri, 11:30pm–7:00am) to operate roasting and packaging equipment, perform QA tasks, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced facility.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of production experience, with basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of hands-on production experience in a machine technician, machine operator, or production operations leadership role.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow production documentation, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic proficiency in math, reading, and written communication.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate standard workplace systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting, grinding, or packaging equipment according to production schedule.
• Maintain workplace safety and food safety standards.
• Perform quality checks and document quality assurance tasks.
• Record production data and keep accurate production records.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Support equipment maintenance reporting to engineering for repairs or preventive actions.
