Axalta is seeking a dependable Batch Maker for the night shift in Canton, OH. The role involves producing coatings by following batch formulas, handling raw materials, and operating production equipment while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 PM-6:30 AM, with occasional Friday shifts. Must be able to lift 55 lbs and pass background checks; forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or batch making preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Background check and physical examination required.
• Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Must lift at least 55 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.
• Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials.
• Handle solvents, resins, pigments, and other production materials.
• Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete batch records and production documentation.
• Monitor product quality and follow SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
