Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Production Operator for manufacturing operations in Houston, TX. The role requires following safety procedures and supporting the Shift Leader to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, assisting maintenance, communicating across shifts, providing samples to Quality Control, and ensuring proper material handling and batch processing to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Minimum).
• Read, write and speak English.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work on different shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean, safe work areas and minimizes material spillage.
• Strives to achieve all production and quality goals.
• Assists maintenance when directed by Shift Leader.
• Communicates status of products, equipment, and quality across shifts.
• Provides representative samples to Quality Control and responds to inquiries.
• Follows all Company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Monitors/adjusts process to meet customer specifications.
