Job summary

Axalta is seeking a dependable Batch Maker for the night shift to produce coatings by following batch formulas, handling raw materials, and operating equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires English proficiency, ability to lift 55 lbs, and successful background check and medical exam. Prior manufacturing or batch-making experience is preferred, with forklift experience considered a plus for operating reach trucks and counterbalance equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or batch-making experience is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English required.
• Successful completion of a background check and physical examination.
• Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials.
• Handle solvents, resins, pigments, and other production materials.
• Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete batch records and production documentation.
• Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
