Job summary

Axalta is seeking a dependable Batch Maker for the night shift to produce high-quality coating products. You will follow batch formulas, weigh and mix raw materials, and operate production equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing batch records, monitoring product quality, maintaining a clean work area, and working effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, or batch-making experience preferred.
  • English reading, writing and speaking required.
  • Able to lift at least 55 lbs and wear required PPE.
  • Must pass background check and physical examination.

  • Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.

Position Summary: Axalta is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team on the night shift. This role is responsible for producing high-quality coating products by following batch formulas, handling raw materials, operating production equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesManufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials.Handle solvents, resins, pigments, and other production materials.Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.Complete batch records and production documentation.Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, production, or batch-making experience is preferred.Ability to speak, read, and write English required.Successful completion of a background check and physical examinationReach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.High school diploma or GED preferred.Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPEOur Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
