Job summary

Trelleborg’s Engineered Coated Fabrics division is seeking a Coating Machine Operator in Monson, MA. You will set up and run coating equipment to apply urethane coatings on nylon textile, ensure machine conditions, and perform inline quality checks.

Competitive starting pay with shift differential, possible raise after 90 days, and a $3,000 retention bonus paid in installments. We value safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak basic English.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix and apply urethane coatings to a nylon textile.
• Monitors coating machine variables to maintain proper machine conditions.
• Responsible for inline QC inspection of coated rolls and tracking defects.
• Understand Acceptance Criteria and all job paperwork.
• Follow instructions from Supervisor.
• Train to perform routine operations such as forms and paperwork.
• Handle chemical mixes, roll flagging, knife cleaning, oven cleaning, and waste storage.
• Communicate information to the next shift operators.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
