Jobot is seeking a CNC Machinist for a 11pm-7am shift in Winsted, CT, specializing in aerospace and precision manufacturing. You will set up and operate multi-axis mills, inspect parts to tight tolerances, and collaborate with engineering to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting of machining processes

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills
• Machine aerospace-grade components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts
• Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds and speeds for accuracy
• Perform in-process inspection and final quality checks
• Use precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize setups for efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering on process improvements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
