Job summary

Enjet Aero in Malden, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist for the night shift to set up and run 3- and 5-axis machines, inspect parts, and support a precision aerospace manufacturer that produces components for leading OEMs. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC operation, can read operation sheets and blueprints, and is eager to learn from engineering and programming teams to improve operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred.
3+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
Okuma control knowledge is a plus.
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle complexity.
Willingness to learn from engineering and programming teams.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain and operate vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling and turning machines to produce high-quality aerospace components without supervision.
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine.
Read operation sheets and blueprints.
Experience with large diameter, thin wall parts preferred.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff.
Other duties as directed by supervisor.
