Job summary

L&H Industrial, Inc. in Gillette, WY is seeking a CNC Machinist on night shift to program, set up, and operate large precision components.

The role offers a base pay of $25.00–$44.00 per hour, plus a 15% night shift differential, overtime after 40 hours, and a quarterly bonus of 10% gross earnings. You’ll join a true job shop with varied projects in mining, energy, and heavy industry.

Qualifications

Two-year degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with CNC machining, machine setup, and programming at the control.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Attention to safety and precision.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture and repair large precision components.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and tolerances to plan operations.
Determine tooling, workholding, sequences, and setups.
Program and adjust at the machine to meet specs.
Perform precision measurements and inspections.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and develop solutions.
Work independently and with fellow machinists, supervisors, Engineering, and Quality.
Maintain a safe, organized work environment and care for equipment.
Follow customer, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
Share knowledge and help develop less-experienced machinists.
