Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CNC Machinist (Night Shift) to set up and operate CNC and NC machines, producing metallic and nonmetallic parts. The role is non-exempt, hourly, with a night schedule from 4:30 pm to 3:30 am and a typical pay range of $30.00 to $50.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have an AA degree or 2–3 years of related experience, knowledge of CNC inspection procedures, and Mazak Mazatrol programming is a plus. A pre-employment drug screen and MVR check apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–3 years related experience or training
• Knowledge of CNC quality inspection procedures and precision measuring tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply geometric concepts
• Proficiency with fractions, percentages, ratios, and relating to machining
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats and solve practical problems
• Mazak Mazatrol programming experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, CNC, and NC machines and machining centers
• Verify finished workpiece against specifications using measuring tools
• Calculate and set machining parameters (speed, feed, coolant) and control media
• Ensure safety and maintain clean, organized work area
• Troubleshoot machining issues and confer with engineers or programmers
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and assist with process improvements
